Fundraising

All school families are required to participate in our fundraising projects. Over 15,000 hours are volunteered to the school each year through the annual fund drive, fair parking, auction and raffle, and SCRIP fundraising projects. You can view this list of school fundraisers to read descriptions and family requirements.

Commitment Hours

All school families are required to perform a minimum of 35 commitment hours each year (20 hours for single parent families), of which 15 of these hours need to be toward a major fundraising event (i.e., fair parking, SCRIP, Entertainment Book sales, Annual Campaign, or Annual Auction). Hours are tracked monthly using a commitment hours form. Periodic statements will be sent home reflecting your hours submitted, only hours submitted on a commitment hour form will be recorded. If you have any questions regarding your volunteer hours, please contact the Puyallup campus. Sign-ups for volunteer opportunities begin at Uniform Night and New Family Night. You may also find sign-ups at Parent Org meetings. (Please note: all school volunteers, including parents, must have a completed background check form on file. If you would like a form, please contact either campus office and a form will be sent home to you.)

The Extended Care program exists primarily as a service for parents who work full time. We offer a safe and caring place for our students before and after school. At Extended Care, the children get indoor and outdoor playtime, directed activities, surpervised study time, and a small snack. Extended Care conforms to the licensing requirements of the Washington State Administrative Code. Parents are welcome to visit any time.
