Ms. Meg Daly

I graduated from Gonzaga University, with a degree in vocal performance, and went on to the University of Washington where I received my master's degree in voice. In 2001, I began teaching beginning and intermediate band at Eastside Christian School in Bellevue. Since that time, I have taught general music and band at St. Mark School in Shoreline, Our Lady Star of the Sea in Bremerton, and St. Nicholas School in Gig Harbor. I have also served as the music director for Assumption Parish in Seattle, and the pastoral assistant for music at St. Nicholas. In 2007, I returned to school at Western Washington University’s Bremerton site and earned my teaching certificate. I began teaching at the All Saints Fife campus last year, and I am delighted to be joining the Puyallup campus as well this year.

Singing is a passion of mine. I have sung several operatic roles in the Puget Sound area, including The Queen of the Night in Mozart’s The Magic Flute, Rosalinda in Johann Strauss’ Die Fledermaus, and one of the wicked stepsisters in Jules Massenet’s version of Cinderella. I am currently rehearsing for a performance of a “mini-opera” by Mozart, called The Impresario. This is through the Ladies Musical Club of Seattle, a nonprofit organization that I joined in 2009.  In November, I will also be singing an exquisite piece by Samuel Barber titled “Knoxville: Summer of 1915” with the Tacoma Community College orchestra. I am always on the lookout for more opportunities to sing professionally – it feeds my artistic soul!
