Development: Volunteer Opportunities

Whether you are a school parent looking for commitment hours, or a parishioner looking to share your gifts of time and talent, your support of All Saints School and Parish is needed and appreciated. There are a number of areas and programs in which to volunteer at All Saints. This page will be updated throughout the year with information on how you can get involved. So please, check back often! (Please note: all school volunteers, including parents, must have a completed background check form on file. If you would like a form, please contact either campus office and a form will be sent home to you.)

Current Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Book Fair!
The Book Fair will be held at both campuses during conferences on Thursday and Friday, March 27 & 28. We need volunteers to help man the cash registers and answer questions. This is an easy, fun way to get some commitment hours. There are sign ups for the Book Fair in both campus offices. Please, stop by and sign up for a shift. A big thank you to Kathleen Rogacki, Nikole Fargher and Gary Brines, who have already signed up to help. We especially need help at Puyallup. A huge thank you to Jody Burns and Susan White for chairing this event!

  • Lunch Servers
Both kitchens are in need of lunch servers. If you can help out by working just one day every 2-3
weeks, it would be greatly appreciated. Sign ups are at both campuses or call the offices. We need YOU!

  • Puyallup Campus Help
We are in need of people who have experience in the following areas. If you are interested, in either area, please contact Tracey Carlin at the Puyallup campus.
    • Electrical and technology repairs
    • Data entry that can be done at home

  • Substitute Custodians
We need several people who would be willing to fill in for Mrs. Kelley and Mr. Keaty when they are at workshops or are sick. If interested, please call Mr. Morissette.

  • Painters
The Puyallup campus is in need of a few painters to paint a section of the hallway. Please call Tracey Carlin if you are interested.

  • Puyallup Librarians
The new Puyallup campus library opened Oct. 9th. We see students only on Tuesdays and have a desperate need for volunteer librarians who can work in the library for an hour, half the day, or all day. If you are interested, please contact Kristina Murray at (253) 863-2322.

  • Puyallup Big Toy Handyman Inspector
Someone with handyman experience is needed at Puyallup to do monthly safety checks on the Big Toy such as tighten necessary hardware, check the springboard matting for any damage, evaluate Big Toy itself for any areas that may be in need of repair. Contact Tracey Carlin if interested.

  • Puyallup Extended Care Helper
We still need helpers for some afternoon days at the Puyallup Campus. Please see Candice for available days. Shifts are in 2 hour increments (3-5 and 4-6). It’s a great way to keep up on your commitment hours or pay for tuition! So come join us and get to know the students, staff, and other parents!

  • Parish Office Helper
Need commitment hours? Have administrative skills? Come to our rescue! The All Saints Parish office could truly use a volunteer with administrative skills to help with tasks like mail processing, record keeping and even some basic bookkeeping. If you have skills or interests in any of these areas we could truly use your help. Even if you are available only for a short time, your help would be appreciated. The parish office is open Monday through Friday 8:30 am to noon and 1pm to 4:30 pm. Volunteers are welcome during any of these hours – we’ll work with your schedule. You’ll earn commitment hours while working alongside some very nice people. If you’re interested, please call the Parish office at 845-7521.

  • Back-Up Bus Driver
Have you always fantasized about being a bus driver? Well, now is your chance! The school is in need of a back-up bus driver to occasionally relieve Mrs. Benson and/or to drive on field trips. If you are intersted in finding out more, please contact Mr. Morissette.

  • Recess Help
Both the Fife and Puyallup campuses are in need of more recess help. You will be compensated $7 an hour, which goes toward your tuition. This is a great way to help out the school and work off your tuition. If you are interested, please contact Susan White at the Puyallup campus.
