School Info: School History

All Saints School is located at 504 2nd St. SW, in Downtown Puyallup. This is the main campus location which houses grades three through eight. Grades pre-kindergarten through second are located at our Fife campus at St. Martin of Tours.

All Saints School was opened in 1954 by Benedictine Sisters. Building our parish school was achieved in large part due to the efforts of Fr. William O'Brien and the generosity of parishioners. As enrollment grew, it became clear in 1993 that we did not have enough room at our Puyallup campus for all of the families wanting to enroll their children. An agreement was made between Fr. Patrick O'Neill of All Saints and Fr. Patrick O'Brien of St. Martin of Tours Parish for additional space. Classes opened at the St. Martin of Tours Fife campus on August 30, 1993.

Sister Claude Rieland served as the first principal of All Saints School. In the first 30 years of the school's existence, nine sisters served as principal. Mrs. Alice Milam became the first lay principal in 1984 and enriched the quality of our education with her guidance until she retired in 2000. Mr. Jack Nelson succeeded her until 2005, when our current principal, Mr. Stephen Morissette, took over.

During the 2004-05 school year, All Saints School celebrated 50 years of providing academic excellence, community service, and Christian values. We look forward to another 50 years!
