Sixth Grade (6B):
Mrs. Debbi Fisler
I have
a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s degree in Elementary
Education with endorsements in K-8 Elementary Education, English/Language
Arts 4-12, and Early Childhood Education.
I am the
middle child of five siblings and was raised primarily in
San Diego, California where I attended a Catholic grade school.
Dad left the Navy and returned to his home in Kennewick, Washington,
when I was in high school. After graduation I lived in Texas,
New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado for a couple of years each,
eventually making my way back home to Washington.
My wonderful
Catholic husband was a widower when we met a few years ago
and we were married at All Saints Church in 2003. I have one
grown daughter and an elementary school aged grandson. When
I married I inherited six more children and their spouses
along with 12 more grandkids! A few live nearby and others
are scattered about the country.
My hobbies
include reading, walking, kayaking, traveling, singing, watching
the Mariners and WSU Cougars, enjoying listening to all kinds
of music and to talk radio, and eating my husband’s
great cooking.
