Second Grade (2B): Mrs. Thecla Siqueira

I am originally from Bombay, India. I came to the United States of America in 1982 along with my husband Roland, and our two children: Oliver and Erika.

In India, I received my Kindergarten and Junior Teacher’s certificate from St. Margaret’s College and taught in a Catholic school for eight years. Opon coming to the States, I received my Montessori Training through The Montessori Institute of America and taught at a Montessori school for three years. I then went on to Pierce College and received an AA Degree in Early Childhood Education and in Arts and Science. While in college, I began teaching at All Saints School in 1993. I taught pre-kindergarten for four years and kindergarten for three years. I then took two years off and went on to Central Washington University where I received my BA in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. I am so glad to be back at All Saints School and am now teaching second grade.

My interests include reading, sewing, cooking, gardening, and traveling.
